Chemagination is a creative innovation and writing contest for high school science students conducted by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and written with the National Science Education Standards in mind.

The New York Section of the American Chemical Society, ACS, will be hosting the Regional Chemagination contest on May 17th at Queensborough Community College on Saturday, May 17th from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

- It should be completed by the teacher.
- Make sure you have the article as a document file on your computer before you begin.
- Submit one form for each student entry.
- The deadline for submissions is midnight, April 25th.

Cellular Silicon -- 1st place winner

"Cellular Silicon", an entry in Medicine and Healthcare from Collegiate School, won first place in its category at the NYACS competition at St. John’s University in 2006. It was then advanced to the Middle Atlantic Regional Meeting (MARM) of the American Chemical Society at Hershey, PA in June 2006 where it once again won the first place in its category .
