| Instructor/Assistant Professor in Chemistry - St. Peter's University
The Chemistry Department at Saint Peter's University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track
position at the rank of Instructor/Assistant Professor beginning in fall of 2019.
The successful candidate will have excellent teaching and communication skills and be able to teach
General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry lecture and laboratory. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
teaching four courses per semester, helping develop experiments for the teaching laboratory, student
advising, holding regular office hours, and participating and attending college and
university events and/or committees. A Masters Degree or preferably a Ph.D. in

| Inorganic Lecturer position at Queens College (CUNY) |
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Queens College of the City University
of New York has an opening for a full time substitute lecturer position beginning the fall
semester of 2019. The primary responsibility is to teach undergraduate level inorganic
chemistry courses. Additional teaching assignments of appropriate subjects and levels
will also be given to fulfill the full teaching load of 26 teaching contact hours per year.
The appointment will be for one year, and may be renewable for one more year
afterwards subject to budget conditions. The department maintains high standards in an
ACS-certified chemistry curriculum and is particularly interested in hiring an enthusiastic
instructor with a strong commitment to teaching. The position requires a PhD in
Chemistry with significant teaching/research experience in Inorganic Chemistry, broadly

|High School Camp Instructor
Farmingdale State College is looking for someone to teach a one-week lab-based class at Farmingdale for high school student camp on August 13 to August 17. The camp has fifteen students who are on an honors track and will be taking chemistry in the fall. There are labs already set, or the instructor could suggest new labs.
The pay is $1500 for the week and the hours are 9:30 – 3:30. The person would be teaching in the lecture in the morning, and doing the labs in the afternoon, with lunch provided. They had a person all ready to go, but she had a personal emergency, so they are looking right now for someone to lead the program.
