Assistant Professor – Chemistry (Non-Tenure Track) - Southern Connecticut State University

The Chemistry Department at Southern Connecticut State University invites applications for a one-semester full-time faculty position starting in the spring 2020 with the possibility of extension into a second semester based on mutual agreement. The primary responsibility will include teaching 100-level courses. Teaching upper level courses in an area of expertise may also be possible. The teaching load is 12 credit-hours per semester. Participation in department/university committees and activities is also expected. A Ph.D. in chemistry is required, and prior experience teaching at the college level is preferred. NMR Spectroscopy - Montclair State University

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Montclair State University seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor in chemistry or biochemistry with expertise in NMR spectroscopy. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field and knowledge of NMR instrumentation, methodology and software. Teaching responsibilities will be in General, Organic or Biochemistry, Instrumentation and NMR Spectroscopy at the introductory through graduate levels. The candidate is also expected to oversee and upgrade the departmental NMR facility and develop an externally funded research program.
